Night Fury Plush

HE'S DONE!!!!
I finally finished him! Apart from a simple Link cosplay I made for Halloween, this is the only thing I have made using a sewing machine! Since it took me a very long time to make him, I might as well explain more fully about him-
I saw the "How To Train Your Dragon" movie the first week it came out and fell in love with adorable Toothless. So later, I found Katy-A's pattern and tutorial, bought some material from Joann's (I can't remember what it was called) and quickly made my own Night Fury plushie! He was completely handsewn, and I snuggled him so much he ended up in a sad state by the fall. After Halloween, once I got the hang of using my mom's sewing machine, I tried to remake him, but the sewing machine would keep messing up the flimsy fabric. After looking at a bunch of other people's fabulous Night Fury plushies (and in awe of the one made by the amazingly talented monoyasha), I decided to start over after Christmas. SadlyI was sick right after Christmas, so my plans were delayed for a week
I sketched out a new pattern (but had trouble with the head, so I still used Katy-A's pattern for that), bought some fleece at JoAnn's (which was on sale for $4 a yard!) and took more time in making him, especially since I wanted him to be bigger this time. I was only planning to make him 45", but he ended up WAY bigger. (I'm only 5' tall, by the way) His tail came out horribly mangled where it attaches to the body and his neck ended up too long so I'll resew him later. I'm still trying to think of a name for him, so if you would be willing to suggest anything, that would be super awesome ^_^

by the way, the little Night Fury is the one I got from McDonald's right after my best friend and I went to see the movie (we both got one!)
